Finally, MLS has taken notice

MLS likely to see 5,000th goal this weekend

I guess all my ranting has paid off. I should note that I did end up having one of the milestone goals wrong. Victorine scored the 3,000th in 2001, not Balboa in 2000. They were at 2,907 entering 2001, and apparently I was using the 93rd goal of 2000 instead...that sucks. Amateur mistake. I went back and edited my June 30 post accordingly. But I knew I was right about the 5,000th.

Also, DC is sitting at 496 overall goals and LA at 493. So we'll have another couple of milestones soon. And if RSL starts playing well, Jason Kreis could even hit 100 this year. :)

Do you have total goals for all teams? If so, would you please post them?

Sweet, DC about to become the first MLS club to hit 500 goals... Or will LA get there first?
