Tyler Deric is the 1,500th Player in MLS History

Starting in place of Pat Onstad for an eliminated Houston Dynamo team, tonight he became the 1,500th player in league history, in all competitions. It's nice to see an academy player get the nod. He follows in the footsteps of fellow milestone players Evan Whitfield in 2000 (#500) and Paul Dalglish in 2006 (#1,000).
