CONCACAF All Stars

It's too simple just to pick the best players. So how about this: There are 35 national teams in CONCACAF (not counting the non-FIFA members). If you took one player from each team, what's the best 18 man roster you could come up with? Here's what I came up with.

can you explain to us MLS fans how Guevara and Derosario didn;t make it....

And too bad about the non-FIFA rule, would love to have Thuram on there for Guadeloupe

David Suazo is generally regarded as the best Honduran player. He plays for Cagliari in Italy, and has been in Serie A for years now. He also was the third leading scorer in the league last year, with 22 goals. No brainer over Guevara.

De Rosario's been great, but Julio de Guzman plays for Deportivo which is very impressive.

As an FC Dallas fan, let me be the first to give the official "snort snort chortle yuk yuk" to Shaka Hislop. I don't know where Dwight Yorke and Stern John are nowadays, but they have to be better choices that Shaka.

Agree with the Stern John over Hislop. He's been horrible for Dallas.

I know Hislop is not at his best anymore. However, I didn't want to use a country like the USA on a goalkeeper, when the other countries don't have top talent elsewhere. Maybe I should've taken one of their other guys (Ince or Jack).

Actually, maybe Jaime Penedo of Panama would've been a good pick...
