OTFATT 2007: Update #3

4/19-90 players remaining
5/6-57 players remaining

7 weeks into the season, there are now only 41 players who have played every minute of every MLS game. Only 26 players have done that for an entire season in MLS history.

At roughly this point last year, there were only 28 players left. The lower number can be attributed to World Cup players. I know the USA camp began May 9 last year. There's also one more team this season.

It's interesting that Columbus has had 7 players play every minute this year, when last year on May 20 they became 2006's first team to drop completely off the list. So injuries or not, the results aren't any better.

I suspect at least one player will drop off due to getting 5 yellow cards before the next update. Eddie Robinson is currently one away from suspension.

Also, I'm pleased to say that MLS finally corrected their error on the Mike Petke/Conor Casey sub I mentioned last time. Good for them.
