Following the Players Used Record 2007

The record is 36 by the 1996 Metrostars, as we've already established. The average for every MLS team from 1996-2006 is 25 players. Counting the regular season only. Through 7/5 29-Toronto 26-Chicago 26-New York 25-Columbus 25-Los Angeles 25-Real Salt Lake 24-Colorado 23-DC United 22-Chivas USA 22-Houston 19-Dallas 19-Kansas City 18-New England I think Toronto is a very good bet to set a new record, although they may need another trade or two. They're already tied for tenth all time. Again, 19 is the record low. I'll be posting regular updates on this Bigsoccer thread, and I'll be sure to post here as Toronto or others (LA?) get close.
