New Milestones Upcoming for MLS

No, this isn't about David Beckham. Goal #6,000 in MLS history is approaching very fast, and apparently without notice. Two years ago, it was Andy Williams who scored the 5,000th goal in MLS history. I had blogged about it a few times before in the early days of this blog, and I even sent an email to MLSnet asking them if they realized it was coming up. A week before it happened they had an article on their site about it, and I wonder if they would've known if not for my posting here and on Bigsoccer? I'd hope so. They (and Elias, I guess) seem to be better at this sort of thing now. The coverage of Houston's streak has been pretty good.
