It's funny - he's done better than I thought, to be honest. And it's harsh to say that those finishes were necessarily easy. He actually showed a lot of good touches on incoming passes and showed a measure of calm before the keeper on 1-on-1 situations that I didn't think he had. I started the video looking for a really good laugh.
If he can learn how to put the extremely easy ones away (yes, perhaps it's a pipe dream), maybe we'd see why he keeps getting chances on national teams.
If his career fizzles out, though, he'd at least find work as the Rooney puppet on the "I'm On Setanta Sports" show.
