Taken from the game guide pdfs on MLSnet. The numbers were off by one on a couple categories when comparing for and against, which I believe was due to Chivas' stats on the goal allowed against Houston two weeks ago (The DeRo penalty). I corrected it, and everything now matches up. I haven't checked the accuracy other than that as it would take too long.
MLS should really promote these stats as they are very detailed and interesting and just get buried in the game guides. Also check out the 2007 goal details.

Some interesting stats:
1) Columbus was strong in the air. They led the league in headers scored and were second in headers allowed.
2) The Crew, however, were only the third best team at converting corner kicks. Kansas City led the league, while Toronto failed to score from one. Here's a corner kick breakdown:

| Last year, KC was last and Houston was first. In 2006, KC was first again. Hmm.
You may think 2% rate of conversion is pretty low, but it almost exactly matches the average for 2004-07 (the years which I have the data).
3) Kansas City was the only team with more left-footed goals scored than right-footed. Chivas was evenly split.
4) Los Angeles allowed 7 goals off rebounds, the most in the league by 3. Think they're gonna have a new starting keeper next year?
5) A very high percentage of Chicago's goals allowed (45%) came from inside the 6-yard box, way more than any other team.
See anything else worth mentioning? |

Toronto didn't score a goal off of a penalty (only one not to do so), but yielded 6, the most in the league
